The Tyson Foods Local Grain Services team is always evolving and expanding to meet your needs. Our team members specialize in every aspect of local grain merchandising to make your LGS experience easy and enjoyable. We are proud to introduce our team and their roles – you can expect to see some new faces, and some you already know.

Josh Carroll is the Senior Director of Tyson Foods Local Grain Services (LGS). He began his career with Tyson in 2007 working as a capital buyer and financial analyst before joining the Commodity Purchasing Group (CPG) in 2012. In CPG he has worked as a soybean meal buyer, logistics manager and Eastern corn buyer, before overseeing the creation of the LGS team.

Maggie Jo Hansen joined the LGS team in October 2016 to start the first marketing and communications program and recruit farmers to sell direct to Tyson. Maggie Jo also leads sustainability and international initiatives for CPG, and buys conventional and organic feed ingredients for our prepared business and Smart Chicken brand.

Brett Price leads the LGS team as a senior manager of East and West regions. Brett interned at Tyson during college in operations, live production and the Case Ready Beef & Pork team before joining CPG full time where he’s worked in LGS analytics, reporting and buying.

Tyler Williams manages the LGS on-farm pickup program across all regions. He worked for Tyson in transportation and micro-feed ingredient purchasing before joining the LGS team.

Craig Beachner is a buyer on the on-farm pickup team. Before Tyson in May 2020, he spent 2.5 years working in logistics, origination, and trading with Consolidated Grain and Barge in Tulsa, OK. He grew up working at his family's farm, feedlot, and grain business in Southeast Kansas.

Tatum Glendenning joined the LGS team in January 2019 after a year internship in CPG. Tatum grew up on a four-generation family farm operation and grain business in Northern Illinois. Tatum buys corn for LGS Western feed mills.

Tim Boyle has assumed a new role on the on-farm pickup team, working primarily with trucking logistics across multiple states and all Tyson feed mills. In January 2019, Tim joined CPG as a merchandiser at our grain elevator in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

Megan Dickard joined the LGS team in May 2020 to buy corn for the LGS Eastern feed mills. Megan interned at Tyson during college as an intern in the Foodservice Channel Marketing department.

Emily Ennis joined the team in March 2020 as an LGS Communications intern. She works remotely from Auburn, AL where she is a senior in Poultry Science at Auburn University.
